We spend significant funds on each cat that comes through our rescue. Kittens who are more quickly adopted help offset the higher costs of caring for sick, injured, adult, and mama cats. As an entirely volunteer-run organization, adoption fees go directly toward vet care and supplies, and they do not fully cover our yearly expenses—especially as costs continue to rise.

 

We consistently spend more on adult cats than adoption fees return, but remain committed to helping them. When we take in litters, we also make every effort to spay the mother, even in TNR cases, to help break the cycle of overpopulation through ongoing local TNR efforts.
