Please note that we typically spend a LOT on each healthy cat that comes through our rescue, and kittens who are "more adoptable" help offset costs of injuries/illnesses and adults/mamas that we also take care of!  We are ENTIRELY volunteer run -- adoption fees go entirely toward vetting and supplies for our animals in care.  Adoption fees don't even come close to covering our vet bills each year, and supply costs have gone up significantly in the last year...

 

We always spend more on adult cats than we receive in adoption fees and want to be able to continue helping them! When we take in a litter we always make every effort to ensure that mom has also been spayed, even if she will be a TNR. Our goal is to stop the kitten cycle.  We do put some serious effort into local TNR to stop the overpopulation problem.
