Whiskers Animal Rescue is based in Granville, Ohio.
Our entirely volunteer run group is dedicated to making a difference in the homeless animal population in Licking County and helping animals in need throughout Ohio.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to help animals in need through sheltering, adoption, education, feral spay & neuter, and community outreach.
🐾 Your admission fee helps provide food, litter, toys, medical care, and a clean, comfortable space for our cats. As a volunteer-run nonprofit, every visit directly supports our rescue mission and helps more cats find loving homes. 🐾

Non-Monetary Donations: We're always looking for volunteers and fosters! Visit our Volunteer page to learn more. We also gladly accept gently used towels, cat furniture, toys, and other pet supplies, as well as cat food, litter, and pee pads—even opened bags. Nothing goes to waste!

Rooibos
Meet sweet Roo... She has been in care since she was just a baby -- overlooked because she isn't needy and clingy like some of the others in the lounge at our cat cafe. She is very sweet and affectionate once she gets to know you; Roo loves to play and gets along very well with other cats. At almost 7 months old, it's time for her to find her forever home and be the queen of her castle!
She has a $125 adoption fee, and is fully vetted!

As a foster-based rescue, many of our cats live in loving foster homes. Each cat's location is listed on their profile on our adoption page.

At Whiskers, we believe that spaying and neutering is an important step in reducing the number of homeless animals in our community. When we take kittens, every effort is made to make sure mom gets spayed as well!
